Seminole County Busted Mugshots is a private reference, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official record. Contact the responsible agency directly.

Official Records and Custody Contacts

Custody records and police reports may have different custodians. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office operates the John E. Polk Correctional Facility and maintains jail booking records. A city police department still keeps the incident or arrest report its officers created, even when the person was booked into the county jail.

Use the official SCSO custody portal for current, released, or all-record searches.

Choose the route that matches the information needed:

  • For current custody or an online current-inmate photo, search the SCSO custody portal first.
  • For a released person’s booking photograph, contact the SCSO Public Information Unit: Bob Kealing at bkealing@seminolesheriff.org or (407) 665-6950, or Kim Cannaday at kcannaday@seminolesheriff.org or (407) 665-6978.
  • For an SCSO arrest report or jail booking record, use the Public Records Unit. The home page explains the full official lookup and request path.
  • For a Sanford, Altamonte Springs, or Oviedo police report, contact the arresting city police department. SCSO’s booking report covers people those agencies bring to JEPCF, but SCSO cannot release a municipal report.
  • For a filed criminal case or final disposition, use the Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller rather than the jail roster.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Florida Department of Corrections Corrections Offender Network. For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator.
  • For a possible warrant, follow the safe court, agency, or attorney route described under Most Wanted.

Public-record estimates, lawful redactions, the volume of a request, and extensive research can affect price and delivery time. Ask for an estimate before chargeable work begins.
